The Grose Valley Traverse follows the Lockley Pylon Track and then descends Du Faurs Head and into the Blue Gum Forest. Steep in places, the walk is exhiliarating. Crossing the stream, lunch awaits at Acacia Flat, in the heart of the Blue Gum forest. This forest represents the first successful conservation attempts in the Blue Mountains, which followed to the World Heritage declaration this century. Take the time to marvel at these magnificent trees. Relax in the peaceful surroundings.
