More Information

After correct bike selection and a short training ride to ensure you have all the gears and braking systems under control, it's off on a great ride. The trail is closed to motor vehicles, so is reasonably safe.

There are a few technical sections en route, and some quite steep hills. However, it is an excellent ride, and can be done as a 3/4 day from the township of Katoomba, with transport and return by train back to Katoomba.

A highlight is the detour into Euroka to see the wild kangaroos.
